We hope to visit Carmel, on our holiday to California this summer. A friend showed us this attractive book. We purchased one and it would appear a very useful guide. (Our friend said that we would never see the cottages in Carmel as clearly as the author did because they are all enclosed by trees and gardens.) The photograph of Seaward, designed by Mr Greene is almost worth the price of the book on its own. All in all a splendid job.
